<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule toner in which low-temperature fixability is improved without impairing resistance to blocking, and a method for manufacturing the capsule toner.SOLUTION: Provided is a capsule toner comprising an intermediate layer including: core particles containing binder resin including styrene acrylic resin, a coloring agent, and a mold-releasing agent; an intermediate layer for covering the core particles and containing first acrylic resin obtained by polymerizing an acrylic monomer component containing at least acrylic acid or a methacrylic monomer component containing at least methacrylic acid; and a shell layer for covering the intermediate layer and containing second acrylic resin obtained by polymerizing an acrylic monomer component or a methacrylic monomer component, the capsule toner being characterized in that the percentage content of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid included in the monomer component constituting the first acrylic resin is larger than the percentage content of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid included in the monomer component constituting the second acrylic resin.</p> |
