<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for lithium ion secondary battery having high heat resistance and a low internal resistance by compounding a nonwoven fabric, inorganic particles and an organic binder, and to provide a method of manufacturing a separator for lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: In a separator for lithium ion secondary battery having high heat resistance produced by compounding a nonwoven fabric, inorganic particles and an organic binder, surface of the inorganic particles is coated with a hydrogenated styrene-butadiene rubber. A coating liquid containing inorganic particles and an organic binder is given, and the medium of the coating liquid is dried and removed. Subsequently, a process liquid produced by dissolving a hydrogenated styrene-butadiene rubber into hydrocarbon is given, and the hydrocarbon is dried and removed.</p> |
