PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for placing/accepting a number plate order, an order accepting device, and an order accepting program that automate order placement/acceptance of a vehicular number plate to which a sequential number is allocated.SOLUTION: An order placing device 1 transmits change information indicating an inventory change to an order accepting device 2 (S102). The order accepting device 2 discriminates whether or not a number plate inventory at an order placement office satisfies an order placement condition, on the basis of the change information (S104). If the number plate inventory satisfies the order placement condition (S104:YES), the order accepting device 2 determines a start number and an end number of the number plate that are to be order placement candidates (S105), and determines a candidate number to be an order placement candidate on the basis of the start number, the end number, and missing number information registered in a missing number table (S106). The order accepting device 2 transmits the candidate number to the order placing device 1 (S107). The order placing device 1 transmits order placement confirmation information related to order placement contents settled on the basis of the candidate number, to the order accepting device 2 (S111).
