<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device which offers a large viewable area and is capable of displaying an image that is visible from the far and has high visual quality with suppressed chromatic aberration.SOLUTION: A concave mirror 30 reflects image light L emitted from display means 10 as parallel light M. A translucent mirror 20 is located between the display means 10 and the concave mirror 30 to transmit the image light L from the display means 10 toward the concave mirror 30 and to reflect the parallel light M from the concave mirror 30 toward a parallel light guide 40. The parallel light guide 40 comprises a translucent planar mirror 41, which receives the parallel light M reflected from the translucent mirror 20 to reflect a portion of the parallel light M and transmit another portion as display light N, and a planar mirror 42, which reflects the parallel light M to the translucent planar mirror 41, arranged parallel to each other to output the light transmitted through the translucent planar mirror 41 as the display light N.</p> |
