The present invention relates to a system and a method thereof to verify and manage the forgery of a check based on the Web. The system includes a note processing device obtaining information about an issued check or paid check; a relay transmitting the information about the issued check or paid check, which the note processing device obtained, to a web application server; the web application server verifying the forgery of the paid check on the Web to provide the result to a teller terminal; and a database storing the information about the issued check or paid check and inquiring into the information about the checks when the forgery is verified by interlinking with the web application server.
