PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate initialization operation.SOLUTION: A ferroelectric cell 2 stores therein first information to be supplied to an internal circuit section 9, a sense amplifier 4 reads the first information from the ferroelectric cell 2, and a determination unit 8 determines whether it is necessary to correct the first information. In this case, the determination unit 8 includes: a ferroelectric cell 8a; and a sense amplifier 8b narrower in sense margin than the sense amplifier 4. The determination unit 8 reads second information stored in the ferroelectric cell 8a using the sense amplifier 8b when a semiconductor storage device is turned on, and determines that it is unnecessary to correct the first information and permits setting of the internal circuit section 9 by the first information if the read second information matches an expected value. |
