PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separator that improves oil separation efficiency by surely capturing oil separated once and preventing re-scattering of the oil, and a compressor including the oil separator.SOLUTION: An oil separator 1 includes a cylindrical separation cylinder 2; centrifugally separates oil contained in gas inflowing from a gas inflow port 5 provided in a tangential direction along an inner peripheral surface 4 of the cylinder; and flows out separated oil from one end side of the separation cylinder 2 and gas from the other end side thereof. In the separator, a cylindrical body 8, in which an opening 9 communicating with the gas inflow port 5 and plural openings 10 for oil capture protrusively opened on the inner peripheral surface side are provided, and plural oil passages 11 communicating with the openings 10 for oil capture are provided on its outer peripheral surface side, is fitted to the inner peripheral surface 4 of the separation cylinder 2. |
