PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable efficient management of a section in charge for sales or maintenance according to a place where an apparatus is installed.SOLUTION: There is provided a management device that manages a section in charge for the operation or maintenance of an image forming apparatus, which is determined according to a position where the image forming apparatus is installed, and includes: a memory unit that memorizes a section in charge of the image forming apparatus; a receiving unit that receives position information on the image forming apparatus; and an updating unit that specifies a new section in charge of the image forming apparatus according to the position information received by the receiving unit and updates the previous section in charge memorized in the memory unit with the new section in charge. |
