<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relate to a power skiving tool of a kind which includes a base body (7) comprising a plurality of exchangeable cutting inserts (8).SOLUTION: Cut dusts are cut from a cutting objective material with the purpose, for example, to form teeth by a cutting insert. According to this invention, an individual cutting insert (8) has a rear side end of the shape of a shoulder surface (16) with only one cutting edge (15) formed and an adjustment mechanism (27) pressed to finely adjust a radial position of the cutting insert related to the base body. Additional control means such as a sawtoothed connection surface for interaction with corresponding control means of an insert seat (9) subordinate to the base body is present on the underside of the cutting insert. Additionally, this invention relates to a power skiving cutting insert.</p> |
