PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overheat prevention device, an overheat prevention method and an overheat prevention program capable of preventing overheat of a drive unit, even if the timing of drive reset of the drive unit is early.SOLUTION: An overheat prevention device includes a temperature calculation unit 301 for calculating a heat radiation energy on the basis of the radiation constant of the drive unit corrected by a correction value for enhancing the estimation temperature of the drive unit, and calculating an input thermal energy inputted to the drive unit on the basis of the drive duty or drive current for driving the drive unit, and calculating the estimated temperature on the basis of the heat radiation energy and input thermal energy, a determination unit 302 for determining whether or not the estimated temperature exceeds a preset upper limit temperature, and a drive control unit 305 performing fail control of the drive unit when a determination is made that the estimated temperature exceeds the upper limit temperature. |
