PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a device cannot respond within a preset number of ringing when a call is incoming in an energy-save mode.SOLUTION: A time T required from incoming of a calling signal until a ringing number of the calling signal reaches a predefined ringing number is stored in a ROM 314. In the energy-save mode, when a sub-CPU 323 detects incoming of the calling signals via an incoming call detection section 321, it stores a detection time T1 in an incoming signal detection information storing section 322, outputs a restoration instruction signal to an energy-save managing section 15, and causes restoration to a normal mode. When the normal mode is restored, the main CPU 313 controls a connection switch section 30 to output the calling signal from the public line network 5 to a modem/calling signal detection section 312, measures a time based on a time obtained by subtracting the detection time T1 stored in the incoming signal detection information storing section 322 from a restoration time T2 at which the normal mode is restored, and performs an off-hook operation when the measured time reaches the required time T stored in the ROM 314. |
