PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system which can set an input position of log-in information as an authentication requirement, in order to inhibit unauthorized log-in using a stolen password.SOLUTION: An authentication device receives input information for user authentication requirements, and an authentication system performs authentication on the basis of the input information for the requirements. The authentication system comprises: reception screen display means which performs display control of a reception screen for authentication information; authentication reception means which receives authentication information via the reception screen display means; display position acquisition means which acquires a display position of the reception screen; and authentication means which performs successful authentication when the display position of reception screen acquired by the display position acquisition means is at a predetermined position.
