PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery system that does not require a large-size secondary battery and enables a fuel battery to start an autonomous operation under a condition that power generation has not yet been performed in the fuel cell and no power is supplied from an external.SOLUTION: A fuel battery system has a fuel battery for generating power by reacting fuel and oxygen, a fuel circulating mechanism as liquid fuel supply means for supplying liquid fuel to the anode side of the fuel cell, an air-intake and exhaust mechanism as air supply means for making air flow to the cathode side of the fuel cell, a fuel inlet valve and a fuel outlet valve which are provided at a fuel inlet and a fuel outlet of the anode side of the fuel battery and opened so as to make fuel remain in the fuel battery under a state that the operation of the fuel battery is stopped and the operation of the liquid fuel supply means is also stopped, and a manual air supply device as manual air supply means for manually making air flow when the operation of the fuel battery is stopped and the fuel inlet valve and the fuel outlet valve are opened. |
