Disclosed in the present invention are a position detection method, a device thereof, a display device, and an antenna device appropriate for extracting polar coordinates. In the method, one of a plurality of loop antennas is selected; an electromagnetic signal is transmitted to a pointer which indicates a screen unit through the selected loop antenna; a resonance signal is received corresponding to the electromagnetic signal transmitted through the selected loop antenna from the pointer; and polar coordinates including the distance value and angle value of the point where the pointer indicates the screen unit based on the signal intensity distribution of each resonance signal received through each of the loop antennas. |
