The present invention relates to a slit nozzle having an adjustable width which injects a coolant in practically the same width as a width of a steel plate. The slit nozzle having an adjustable width includes: a nozzle having an inlet where the coolant flows in, and an outlet where the coolant is discharged; and a pair of width control units wherein one end is rotatably installed in the inlet side of the nozzle to enable the other end, which is arranged on the outlet side of the nozzle, be moved away from each other or be closer to one another. The slit nozzle having an adjustable width is provided to control a rotational angle of the other end of the width control unit to control the flowing region of the coolant in the outlet of the nozzle.
