Provided are an organic solar cell using chemically modified silicon nanoparticles and a method for manufacturing the same. The organic solar cell includes (i) a substrate, (ii) a first electrode layer disposed on the substrate, (iii) a hole collection layer disposed on the first electrode layer, (iv) an organic light-absorbing layer disposed on the hole collection layer, and (v) a second electrode layer disposed on the organic light-absorbing layer, wherein the organic light-absorbing layer includes modified silicon nanoparticles. |
