<p>PURPOSE: A toothpaste composition is provided to physically and chemically remove pigmented material on teeth and to suppress re-pigmentation on the teeth. CONSTITUTION: A toothpaste composition contains: 0.1-10.0 weight% of cleansing granule in which silica, calcium carbonate, aluminium hydroxide or kaolin; 0.1-1.0 weight% of pigment dissolving agent; and chelating agent. The pigment dissolving agent is limonene, citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, glycol acid, or glutaric acid. The chelating agent is pyrophosphate salt.</p> |
