<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal which allows starting a desired function without depending on the way of holding the portable terminal, and to provide a function execution method thereof.SOLUTION: A smart phone (1) comprises an acceleration sensor (12), an angular velocity sensor (13), and a function execution controller (105) which execute a function associated to a movement in a direction detected by the angular velocity sensor (13).
