<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flux-cored wire for welding which enables a high-toughness weld metal to be obtained and a shape of the weld metal to be not projected, but smooth in a vertical welding.SOLUTION: A flux-cored wire for gas shielded arc welding satisfies the requirement that: it contains 1.0% or more and 6.0% or less of MnO and 1.0% or more and 6.0% or less of CaO by mass% to the wire total mass; a value of Pcm defined by an expression of [Pcm=N(C)+N(Si)/30+N(Mn)/20+N(Cu)+N(Ni)/60+N(Cr)/20+N(Mb)/15+N(V)/10+5 N(B)] when N(X) is a total mass of an element X to the wire total mass is within the range of 0.15% or more and 0.40% or less; and the total mass of P and S is restricted to 0.040% or less, with the remainder of Fe, an arc stabilizer, and an inevitable impurity.</p> |
