<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of detent generated between a wheel-side rolling element and a raceway surface among the rolling elements of double row in a rolling bearing device for a wheel.SOLUTION: In a bearing device A for a hub shaft (rolling bearing device for wheel) having an outer ring 45, a hub shaft 1 (inner ring) integrated with a flange portion to which a shaft portion and a wheel can be mounted, and a plurality of balls 50 and 51 arranged in double row, a thickness of a lower half of the outer ring 45 on which the balls 51 arranged at a wheel 60 side among the balls 50 and 51 of double row, are positioned, includes a region just below a shaft center of the outer ring 45 when observing the outer ring 45 from the axial direction, and a region of more than an angular range of one pitch as a central interval of the adjacent balls 50 is relatively thinner in comparison with a thickness at a side opposite to a ground R side of the outer ring 45.</p> |
