<p>The present invention relates to a traditional Korean medicinal toothpaste containing a medicinal herb extract and propolis, wherein a medicinal herb extract extracted from Cnidium officinale Makino, Angelica gigas Nakai, Angelica dahurica Benth, Mentha arvensis L., Artemisia capillaris Thunberg, Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer and pine needles is added to a toothpaste for tooth whitening, plaque removal and periodontal disease inhibition, thereby minimizing the irritation of a toothpaste, improving the efficacy and feeling of use of medicinal herbs, and enhancing sterilization for the antibacterial effect and inflammation prevention inside the mouth so as to hygienically maintain the teeth and the mouth and prevent and treat cavities and periodontitis. According to the present invention, provided is a traditional Korean medicinal toothpaste containing a medicinal herb extract and propolis, wherein a medicinal herb extract comprising Cnidium officinale Makino, Angelica gigas Nakai, Angelica dahurica Benth, Mentha arvensis L., Artemisia capillaris Thunberg, Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer and pine needles and propolis are added to a toothpaste comprising: precipitated calcium carbonate and calcium hydrogen phosphate as an abrasive for polishing the outer surface of the teeth; aminocaproic acid and aluminum chlorohydroxy allantoinate, which are agents for preventing periodontal diseases and inflammation; sorbitol, glycerin and xylitol, which are wetting agents for preventing solidification; polyethylene glycol (PEG), carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and xanthan gum, which are binders for binding a powder and a liquid ingredient; sodium lauryl sulfate which is a foaming agent for allowing medicinal ingredients to be dispersed and penetrated rapidly; sodium benzoate, a green tea extract, sodium saccharin, menthol, peppermint oil and blue No. 1, which are additives for inhibiting the growth of microorganisms and improving the feeling of use; and purified water.</p> |
