PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving assistance apparatus that allows effective avoidance of collision while reducing uncomfortable feeling to a driver during turning thereof.SOLUTION: The driving assistance apparatus comprises: an obstacle detecting portion that detects an obstacle and acquires obstacle information including distance to the obstacle; and a control portion that performs based on the obstacle information acquired by the obstacle detecting portion a control by intervention to at least either one of braking force and driving force. The control portion performs the control on the basis of the distance to the obstacle, based on the obstacle information, and running resistance generated according to steering by a driver. |
