PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch sensor panel which offers smaller electrode resistance compared with conventional ITO film touch sensor panels, thereby easily and reliably promoting increase in the size of panels, and to provide a manufacturing method for the same.SOLUTION: A touch sensor panel 10 includes a rectangular plate-like panel body 2, a first metallic electrode group 3a which is embedded in the panel body 2 to be substantially parallel to the plate surface and is conductive in one direction, and a second metallic electrode group 3b which is embedded in the panel body 2 to face the first electrode group 3a and is conductive in a direction perpendicular to the one direction, where the first electrode group 3a or the second electrode group 3b comprises a plurality of metallic wires. Preferably, the panel body 2 includes a front layer 4, intermediate layer 5, and back layer 6, and the first electrode group 3a is located near an interface between the front layer 4 and the intermediate layer 5 while the second electrode group 3b is located near an interface between the intermediate layer 5 and the back layer 6. Average width of the first electrode group and the second electrode group shall preferably be no greater than 10 μm. |
