SHEET-LIKE MATERIAL AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-like material which is used in forming a good coating layer and has appropriate water repellency throughout the sheet and its production process.SOLUTION: A sheet-like material is excellent in forming a good coating layer. The sheet-like material consists of a nonwoven fabric composed of a fiber of an average single fiber diameter of 0.2-30 μm, a polymer elastic body and a water repellency agent. The water repellency agent is present in an inner layer part and an outer layer part of the sheet, and the amount of the water repellency agent adhered is 0.01-0.50 mass% relatively to the amount of the fiber.
