PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primer composition excellent in storage stability and adhesiveness for use in treatment of a glass substrate used in automobiles.SOLUTION: The primer composition includes a base primer and an adhesion promoter. The adhesion promoter includes a product produced by partially reacting at least one trifunctional aromatic isocyanate compound containing a thiophosphate group with a silane selected from among an amino-silane, a mercapto-silane and the combination thereof. The reaction product is a resultant product of partial reaction of 1 mol of the trifunctional aromatic isocyanate with 1-3 mol of an amino-silane, a mercapto-silane or the combination thereof (provided that the resultant product contains an isocyanate group).
