<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a conventional repellent method of birds such as doves in which the methods of a net, light, warning sound, electricity, a perch with a shape hard to perch thereon, etc., are suggested; however, either of these methods has both of good points and bad points, and it is not the repellent methods of birds suitable for the high-rise buildings such as apartments.SOLUTION: A pressure sensitive adhesive sheet for bird repellent with polyurethane gel formed into a sheet is installed in a hand rail of a veranda. When a dove swoops down on this sheet, bird's feet adhere to a polyurethane gel layer and are restricted. Then, the dove makes wings flap and desperately tries to its feet off from the adhesive layer. The dove may pull its feet off while struggling and finally escapes therefrom. However, the dove never forgets a fear experience of this time and does not approach the handrail of the same veranda again, and as a result, the doves can be repelled.</p> |
