<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive support device which can prevent actuation of support for avoiding collision between a vehicle and an obstacle or reducing damage due to the collision from being delayed.SOLUTION: When an obstacle is detected in detection regions of ultrasonic sensors SO1, SO2, SO3 and SO4, while the ultrasonic sensors SO1, SO2, SO3 and SO4 having detected the obstacle are in the on-state, it is estimated whether the operation timing of an automatic brake arrives or not in a period from when the ultrasonic sensors SO1, SO2, SO3 and SO4 in the on-state are turned off until when the ultrasonic sensors are turned on. When it is estimated that the operation timing arrives, before the operation timing arrives, concretely, while the ultrasonic sensors SO1, SO2, SO3 and SO4 having detected the obstacle are in the on-state, the automatic brake is started.</p> |
