PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system for managing commercial transactions, which includes a network service for providing network paths among a plurality of computers at a plurality of remote sites and a plurality of network software interfaces at these sites.SOLUTION: Bundle processing logic is used among a plurality of computers at a plurality of sites. The logic finds a predetermined state within a content attribute descriptor associated with the bundle, and responds to a series of instructions for executing an action in response to the finding of the predetermined state. A programming interface for bundle processing logic is also included, which is accessible from each of the plurality of sites and is operable to define at least a portion of the series of instructions for the bundle processing logic.
