<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise generated from near a tip of a chisel, without decreasing working efficiency of the breaking.SOLUTION: The concrete breaker includes: a breaker body 1 forming a cylinder 2; a chisel 4 held at a front end side in the cylinder 2 so as to be reciprocatable; a piston 7 held at a rear end side in the cylinder 2 so as to be reciprocatable, for coming in contact with a rear end of the chisel 4 and applying striking force; a fixation member 8 fixed to the chisel 4; a silencing member 13 provided coaxially with the chisel 4, and held by a saucer 12; and a conical coil spring 11 provided so as to intervene between the fixation member 8 and the saucer 12, for energizing the silencing member 13 so as to push the silencing member against a peripheral edge part of an opening hole 3. When the chisel 4 becomes eccentrically offset from the breaker body 1, the silencing member 13 also becomes eccentrically offset, with the chisel 4, thus preventing the friction between the chisel 4 and the silencing member 13, and closing a gap g between the breaker body 1 and the chisel 4, to prevent the striking sound from leaking.</p> |
