<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that image quality after the exchange of a toner cartridge is deteriorated due to a print history before the toner cartridge exchange.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming unit 10; a toner cartridge 20; a toner residual amount detection part 11; a print duty measurement part; and a bias determination or the like. The print duty measurement part measures a print duty since the predetermined value of a toner residual amount in the image forming unit 10 is detected by the toner residual amount detection part 11 until the toner cartridge 20 is exchanged. The bias determination part changes a bias difference between a development bias DB after the exchange of the toner cartridge 20 and a supply bias in accordance with the measured print duty. Thus, it is possible to improve paper space covering after the exchange of the toner cartridge.</p> |
