PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil anti-wear agent which is a liquid and easily handled while having a good anti-wear effect.SOLUTION: A lubricating oil additive composition contains a compound represented by the formula (1), and a specific phosphorus compound with different substituent groups similar to the formula (1), where the content of phenyl groups of all aryl groups but aryl groups constituting X is 3-30 mol%. A lubricating oil additive comprises a compound represented by the general formula (1).
