According to one embodiment, an information processing device is disclosed. The device includes a host device and a memory device. The host device includes a first memory portion to store first data and tag information corresponding to the first data, and a host controller to control input and output of data for the first memory portion. The memory device includes a nonvolatile semiconductor memory, and a device controller to control input and output of data for the nonvolatile semiconductor memory, and to transmit an input and output request for data to the host controller. In response to the device controller transmits an output request, the host controller reads the first data and the tag information from the first memory portion based on the output request, and outputs the first data and the tag information to the device controller.

a nonvolatile semiconductor memory configured to store data; anda device controller configured to control input and output of data for the nonvolatile semiconductor memory, and configured to transmit an input and output request for data to the host controller, wherein in response to the device controller transmitting an output request, the host controller reads the first data and the tag information from the first memory portion based on the output request, and outputs the first data and the tag information to the device controller.
