The hydroculture device for growing a plant, which stores nutrients in the underground portion (5), by hydroculture is equipped with: a nutrient solution flow channel (2) provided at the bottom of a cultivation tank (1); and a partition member (3), which is disposed above the nutrient solution flow channel (2), has holes (3h) of a size that allows the roots (7) and stolons (8) generated from the underground portion (5) of plants to pass therethrough, and supports the underground portion (5) and stolons (8) and tubers extending from the underground portion (5) on the upper surface. Said hydroculture device: passes roots (7) generated from the underground portion (5) of a plant through a hole (3h) from the upper surface side to the lower surface side of the partition member (3) and immerses same in the nutrient solution flow channel (2); grows stolons (8) generated from the underground portion (5) of the plant on the upper surface of the partition member (3); and forms tubers of the plant on the upper surface of the partition member (3).
