PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably remove deposit within a transverse pipe and clean the transverse pipe, by arranging wiring in the transverse pipe of an inverted siphon part of a sewage pipeline.SOLUTION: A cleaning apparatus comprises a nozzle device that is connected at a predetermined angle to wiring moving with a desired tensile force within a transverse pipe. The cleaning apparatus emits a jet of high-pressure water, which is supplied from a high-pressure pump, as a water jet flow from an injection port of the nozzle device, and scatters and washes away deposit within the transverse pipe.
