PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact antenna apparatus and a radio communication apparatus which can operate in a plurality of frequency bands.SOLUTION: The antenna apparatus includes: a first SR resonator including a first SR part formed on a first conductor layer and a third SR part formed on a second conductor layer so as to face the first SR part; a second SR resonator including a second SR part formed on the first conductor layer and a fourth SR part formed on the second conductor layer so as to face the second SR part; a conductor via for electrically connecting the first SR part to the third SR part and the second SR part to the fourth SR part; and a branch line including a first branch line and a second branch line which are branched through a branch part. In the first branch line, its one end is connected to the conductor via in the first SR resonator and the other end is extended up to the branch part. In the second branch line, its one end is connected to the conductor via in the second SR resonator and the other end is extended up to the branch part. The branch part is arranged in the first SR resonator or the second SR resonator. |
