<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress electric discharge from a paper powder removal roller while suppressing lowering of paper powder removal capability in a sheet carrier device including the paper powder removal roller having an outer peripheral surface which is in contact with a sheet and is made of a conductive material.SOLUTION: A sheet carrier device includes a switching section for switching a destaticization state in which a paper powder removal roller 25 is electrically connected to a ground side and a charging state in which the paper powder removal roller 25 is not electrically connected to the ground side. Thus, charging of more than required electric charge on the paper powder removal roller 25 can be suppressed. Therefore, electric discharge can be suppressed from the paper powder removal roller 25 while suppressing lowering of paper powder removal capability.</p> |
