<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polystyrene based resin foam capable of leaving characteristics, such as lightness as they are and excellent in buffer performance, such as shock absorption, flexibility and cracking.SOLUTION: A polystyrene based resin foam has an expansion ratio of 80 to 140 times, a fusion rate of 90% or more, a flexural strength (JISK7221-2) of 70-120 kPa and a flexural elastic modulus (JISK7221-2) of 1000-4000 kPa. Thereby, the polystyrene based resin foam maintains characteristics, such as lightness as they are while obtaining buffer performance higher than that of a conventional polystyrene based resin foam.</p> |
