PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a reflection type display device, and an adhesive agent transfer sheet, capable of preventing an adhesive agent from wetting and spreading over a wall surface of a partition wall when transferring the adhesive agent onto the partition wall.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a reflection type display device includes: a partition wall formation process of forming a partition wall in a prescribed pattern on one base plate; and an adhesion layer formation process of forming an adhesion layer on a top surface of the partition wall. The adhesion layer formation process includes a process of causing the adhesive agent disposed on a base material to have contact with the top surface of the partition wall so that the adhesive agent covers an opening of at least part of cells partitioned by the partition wall, and heating the adhesive agent having contact with the top surface of the partition wall. The adhesive agent includes a volatile material or a foam material.
