<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device of high accuracy of an image formation position, while being simple in a control and positioning mechanism and arithmetic processing of position information.SOLUTION: A master machine 3 movable in a sub-scanning direction of a sheet 1 is separably mounted with slave machines 4 reciprocatably movable in a main scanning direction. When forming an image, the master machine mounted with the slave machines executes positioning in the same direction by moving in the sub-scanning direction while confirming an edge A of the sheet by using two sets of sensor units SA and SB composed of three sensor elements. When the master machine skews, the moving direction can be corrected based on output of the sensor units. The slave machines form the image on the sheet while reciprocatably moving in the main scanning direction by separating from the master machine in respective positions in the sub-scanning direction.</p> |
