A transmission fluid obtained by adding calcium carbonate to a base oil. Said transmission fluid is characterized in that: the calcium carbonate is dispersed in the transmission fluid in the form of agglomerated structures; agglomerated structures that are at least 200 nm in diameter constitute, in terms of calcium content, 10-35% of the total mass of the aforementioned agglomerated structures; and the base number of the transmission fluid, as per the hydrochloric-acid method, is between 0.5 and 4 mg KOH/g, inclusive. |
