<p>The present invention relates to a tread pressing roll which compresses a tread extrudate in a molding drum of a molding process in tire manufacture and, more specifically, to a tread pressing roll which improves the uniformity of a green tire molded by performing compression molding in order to have a shape identical to a profile of a tread extrudate of the green tire to be molded and allows the green tire to have stable tire performance. To do this end, the tread pressing roll with a support shaft (1) for compressing a tread extrudate and a roll cover comprises: a variable roll cover (2) for modifying a block shape and a groove to be molded on a tread extrudate while covering the support shaft (1); multiple upper and lower operation cylinders (3) for the variable shape and inclined plane of the variable roll cover (2); and an overlapped variable part (4) which forms a tread block in the variable roll cover (2).</p> |
