PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus and a program which enable information unique to each commodity to be efficiently obtained.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes individual identification means for identifying, from a captured image obtained by capturing an image of a commodity as an identification object, an individual of the commodity, first storage means for storing, for each individual of the commodity, characteristic information unique to the individual in association therewith, specification means for specifying the characteristic information of the individual identified by the individual identification means from the first storage means, and output means for outputting the characteristic information specified by the specification means. |
