PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and devices for assessing infertility and/or egg quality in a mammal.SOLUTION: The methods for assessing infertility comprises: conducting an assay to determine presence or absence of a mutation in a plurality of genes selected from a specific gene group; and assessing infertility based on results of the assay, wherein presence of a mutation in at least two of the genes from the specific gene group is indicative of infertility.
