METHOD AND APPARATUS TO FACILITATE EARLY DECODING OF SIGNALS IN RELAY BACKHAUL LINKS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods, apparatuses and computer program products that facilitate early decoding of relay signals.SOLUTION: A relay receives a signal within a sub-frame from a network. A first and a second reference symbol are detected within the sub-frame, where the first reference symbol is detected before the second reference symbol. The signal is then decoded based on the first reference symbol. The first reference symbol and the second reference symbol are associated with a demodulation reference signal.
