<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber for a transportation carriage which can reliably absorb a shock in association with stop of the transportation carriage even if a small-sized damper is used.SOLUTION: A shock absorber 11 for absorbing a shock in association with stop of a transportation carriage 2 on which a body 1 of an automobile is loaded comprises: a bearing member 12 which contacts an advancement direction front side of the transportation carriage 2; a damper 13 connected t a back face of the bearing member 12; and transfer means 14 which longitudinally moves the damper 13 towards the transportation carriage 2. The transfer means 14 brings a front wheel 2a of the transportation carriage into contact with the bearing member 12 at a standby position where the damper 13 is advanced, and thereafter, retracts the damper 13 during shrinkage of the damper 13 due to contact thereof.</p> |
