The method, apparatus and computer program product comprise facilitating receipt of a plurality of images and a plurality of image statistics associated with a scene and performing ordering of the plurality of images based at least on the plurality of image statistics. The method, apparatus and computer program product also include generating a panorama image of the scene based at least on stitching the plurality of ordered images.
