<p> Provided is a game device which can maintain a high level of player motivation for training a player character and participating in battles by making it likely that training player characters will influence the results of battles, by making training objectives easier to set and more objective, by using ranking criteria that are easy for the player to understand, and by allowing players to brag amongst each other about the results of their battles. The game processing device, in which a player character and a non-player character can battle, is provided with: a means for setting, as the battle opponent of a player character selected by a player, a non-player character of a designated rank from a plurality of non-player characters of which the order is determined taking into account at least one parameter; and a means for executing a battle and determining the result of the battle on the basis of the ability values of the selected player character and the ability values of the non-player character of the designated rank. </p> |
