MANUFACTURING METHOD OF EDIBLE FOOD PACKAGING FILM USING CORN FIBER

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an eco-friendly edible film by extracting an extract from corn hulls. More specifically, the edible film is manufactured by extracting an extract from the corn hulls, which are byproducts generated when corn starch is prepared, and then adding a plasticizer and a cross-linking agent to the extract. And in addition, the tensile strength and elongation of the edible film were verified to be excellent. Thus, the edible film can be favorably used as a low-priced eco-friendly and biodegradable food packaging material.
