The present invention relates to a data storage method, a data processing method, a data processing apparatus, and a data processing system, which are capable of efficiently searching and managing a plurality of image data. The data storage method comprises the steps of: generating an identifier for search based on a base identifier of a target, and storing the generated identifier for search; generating metadata for image data on the target, and generating information on a storage location where the metadata is stored; and storing the storage location information of the metadata together with the identifier for search of the target. The data processing method comprises the steps of: obtaining an identifier for search for an examinee based on a base identifier thereof; obtaining the storage location information of metadata for image data on the examinee corresponding to the obtained identifier for search; and determining a location where the metadata for image data on the examinee is stored by analyzing the obtained storage location information, and obtaining the metadata for image data on the examinee.
