<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of improving lighting control efficiency while downsizing and thinning the device, an illumination device using the same, an illumination system, and a lighting fixture. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device comprises a power supply part 4 that converts DC power from a DC power supply 1 into desired DC power and supplies lighting power to a light source part 3 composed of an inorganic LED element or an organic EL element and a control part 7 that performs feedback control for the power supply part 4 so as to make load current flowing in the light source part 3 constant. The power supply part 4 includes a switching element Q1 that switches on/off according to a drive control signal from the control part 7 and is composed of a chopper circuit that supplies the lighting power to the light source part 4 by switching on/off of the switching element Q1.
